Chapter 4: The Unusual Structure of Revelation

Chapter 4: The Unusual Structure of Revelation

After some time, the agent entered his room. As soon as he turned around, he sensed someone behind him. The agent swiftly pulled out his revolver from his jacket and pointed it at Zylxa’s chest.

"Who are you? Who sent you to me?" he asked, his voice filled with a mix of fear and aggression.

Zylxa stood completely fearless, her gaze unwavering. "Calm down. I am not your enemy. We can resolve this peacefully."

Ignoring her words, he pulled the trigger. Zylxa moved like lightning, and the bullet passed close to her. She retaliated instantly, disarming him with one swift move and sending the revolver clattering to the floor. With another move, she slammed him to the ground. Placing her foot on his chest, she spoke firmly, "It seems you didn’t understand me. I said I don’t want to hurt you. Just tell me what I want to know."

To clear his confusion, Zylxa showed him a holographic device displaying the young man’s picture. "Do you know him? Did you attack him?" she asked.

He struggled under her foot, trying to free himself, but remained silent. Zylxa kicked him hard in the ribs, and blood began to trickle from the agent’s mouth. He started to scream, but Zylxa, without any mercy, increased the pressure of her foot.

"I asked you something. Why are you making it harder for yourself? Answer me!" she said angrily.

Instead of answering, the agent began to threaten Zylxa, "Maybe you don’t know whose man I am." Zylxa slapped him hard, making his head spin. She grabbed him by the hair, pulled his face towards her, and pointed her revolver at his forehead. "This is your last chance. Either I crack open your skull or you open your mouth."

But the agent, spitting blood, said, "You really have no idea who you’re messing with."

Zylxa dragged him by the collar to the window and dangled him outside. "Alright, it seems I need to cool your brain with some fresh air! Besides, your life and death are in my hands right now." He started to scream.

"You’ve gone mad! Killing me won’t save you. Stop these crazy antics!" the agent said, his voice a mix of fear and anger.

Zylxa said, "For now, think about it. Do you think someone will come to save you? I don’t think anyone will recognize your corpse after a fall from this height." She smiled sarcastically.

The agent looked down, then at Zylxa’s face, which showed no hesitation, only determination and a strange smile. He said, "Even if I tell you, you won’t be able to do anything!"

Zylxa said, "That’s not your problem. You just need to answer my questions... or prepare to be hung in the air." She loosened her grip, and the agent began to slip downward.

Fear of death flashed across the agent’s face, and he pleaded, "Alright, if I tell you, how can I trust that you’ll let me go?"

Zylxa pulled him back into the room in one swift motion. "I’m not some hired killer like you. Give me the right answers, and your life will be spared in return."

The agent told her everything he knew. His name was Soni Rai. He worked for "Dark Heldar." He didn’t know much about the young man, but he had received a message to find and eliminate him. Later, he received another message that the young man had been seen heading towards North Mount Road. By the time they were on the way, their northern gang agents had already claimed to have eliminated him. So, they returned. Their gang had killed him, but they didn’t know who exactly did it. They only had the target, tracking information, and live-dead status. They worked only on orders; the who, why, and how were not part of their information.

Zylxa listened calmly, but she was angry. However, keeping her promise, she left the room. But the sound of sirens and flashing lights stopped her. The police had arrived. She went back into the room.

Soni started laughing like a madman. "I told you, you messed with the wrong people! Hahaha, you—" His words were cut short as Zylxa shot him in the head. Watching the agent’s lifeless body fall to the floor, Zylxa muttered, "The promise was to spare only once. The next insolence won’t be forgiven."

Understanding the danger, she ran towards the rooftop. As she opened the rooftop door, a helicopter was hovering above her. Armed men were leaning out, aiming at her. She was alone, but Zylxa had left fear behind long ago.

The next moment, a police speaker boomed: "This is the police! Drop your weapon and surrender immediately! No warnings, you are surrounded! There’s no escape!"

Zylxa quickly scanned her surroundings and assessed her options. She saw the lower roof of the hotel across the street. Without hesitation, she took out her grappling hook, aimed precisely, and the hook firmly latched onto its target. With a deep breath, she swung from the hook across the street, like a modern Tarzan, landing on the roof of the second hotel.

From there, she ran to her hoverbike, which was parked nearby. The helicopters were still circling above her, and as soon as they received the order, they began firing at her. Zylxa was already on the bike, and her advanced reflexes saved her from the bullets. In the next moment, she started the engine, and the bike roared beneath her as if cheering her on. With determination, she pressed the boost button and leaped off the roof with the bike.

She soared through the air as if her bike were flying. The armed helicopters tried to target her, but Zylxa was ready. She pressed a button on the hoverbike, and a bright beam emerged, turning one helicopter into an explosion of sound and flames. The second helicopter tried to escape, but the beam sliced through it, turning it into another explosion. Zylxa landed with the bike on the sidewalk near the road, where police cars were trying to surround her again. They continued firing at her, but Zylxa pressed another button on the hoverbike, and both Zylxa and the hoverbike became invisible. By the time the police could do anything, Zylxa had already maneuvered through the city’s traffic and obstacles, leaving the city behind and reaching her base in the forest.
